Nuworks were proud to launch BrokerCentral, the placement and management software platform for insurance brokers, at BIBA 2022 in Manchester last week.
It was a rainy Wednesday morning in Manchester but that didn’t stop the crowds from gathering outside the Manchester Central complex. This year's BIBA conference was reported to be the highest attended in a very long time.
The Nuworks stand was positioned toward the back of the hall and it took a while for brokers to filter their way to us. After a bit of a slow start, we didn’t know what hit us! We had a lot of interest for BrokerCentral, to the point where people were queueing for demos! It goes to show that there is a real need in the broking community for better software and new ways of working.
We'd brought along a Virtual Reality motion platform to hook visitors to our stand, but it turns out it wasn’t needed. People were far more interested in our software than the simulator (hardly surprising for the second day as most brokers were nursing a hangover!)
All in all, we couldn’t have hoped for a better few days. Now we’ve just got to work our way down the contact list to follow up with all the excellent brokers we spoke to last week.
